Additional Resources for Families

During this difficult and stressful time families seeking emotional support related to COVID-19 are encouraged to contact the Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH) at 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746 to speak with a crisis specialist. DDH is available 24/7. Please see the links below for detailed information regarding the Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH). 

Additionally, North Sound 211 is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with resources available specifically related to COVID-19. 

The Stanwood-Camano School District has two Student Support Advocates to help children, families and staff. If families need assistance or have questions about resources available for mortgage/rent payments, utility bills, Apple Health Insurance, food or unemployment benefits, or mental health support, please call the Student Support Advocates at 360-629-1480. If there is no answer, please leave a message with your phone number and an advocate will follow up and connect you to resources available.
